Our HUGE THANKS go to award winning children's author and illustrator Lucinda Hare who spent time with us developing the Buddy Bear Beats Bullying book.  Such an inspiration. Lucinda is author of the magical world of the Dragonsdome Chronicles, award winning books written to enchant and engage all age groups - it doesn't matter if you are 9 or 99 years young.  Lucinda took her inspiration from spending most of her childhood wandering woods and beaches in East Lothian watching the wildlife and dreaming.  Please check out her website for the Dragonsdome Chronicles, artwork and a range of beautifully hand illustrated mindfulness colouring books.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Special THANKS to Helen Wyllie for her graphic design expertise @ bringing the teens' drawings to life as Buddy Bear and the logo.

We are mindful and so THANKFULL for the generous help and expertise given by Gillian of and Angela McCusker for introducing some beautiful mindfulness breathing activities into the Buddy Bear Backpack for the children.

Social Enterprise Funding

Buddy Bear Friends is a project of Lead a Bright Future, a social enterprise which works with young people to transform their lives.  Together with young people we create enterprising projects that contribute to a better world and also a brighter future for them personally.  As well as developing rich life skills we support them in identifying their passion and strengths and a pathway into education, training, work and enterprise.  A large portion of the income that enables us to do this transformative work comes from donations, grant awards and trusts funding.  If you would like to discuss any funding or sponsorship opportunities with us we are always delighted to hear from you - please call Fiona on 07703 565 126.

Thank you to the following for your funding awards for Lead a Bright Future

We would like to take the opportunity to thank those who have funded us.  We could not have done this valuable work without your contribution, which has already and continues to transform young lives.
